BOYNTON BEACH, FL, JULY 2021 – BigCommerce (Nasdaq: BIGC), a leading Open SaaS eCommerce platform for fast-growing and established brands, and PeakActivity, a digital strategy and implementation company, today announced that PeakActivity will be an implementation partner for BigCommerce’s best-in-class comprehensive commerce solutions for retailers that span both brick and mortar stores and digital channels.
While the number of people who purchase goods and services online continues to grow year after year, the past 18 months have accelerated that growth to a degree that many retailers simply were not prepared for, particularly as it relates to eCommerce, order management, and personalization. As a result, retailers are searching for any advantage they can gain that will allow them to react quickly to this unprecedented shift in consumer behavior and better serve their customers.
“Business relationships are not unlike any other kind of relationship, in that, in order to be successful they have to be based on trust and mutual respect,” says Manish Hirapara, CEO of PeakActivity. “I’m happy to say that’s certainly the case with BigCommerce. We were fans of theirs long before we were business partners, often recommending their technology to our clients, which as you can imagine, we don’t do unless we’re sure it’s the right solution.”
PeakActivity is so convinced that this partnership will be beneficial to their clients—and to their clients’ customers—that they sent two developers to “BigDev Bootcamp” for additional training and exposure to the latest functionality.
“It was an intense 30-hour course over the span of a week,” says Sara Meza, SVP Digital at PeakActivity. “It included hands-on-learning application, various use case discussions, and final assessment testing. Our participation in the workshop not only shows just how seriously we take this partnership, but it lets our own clients know that we are committed to providing them with the very best technologies available in order to help grow their business.”
“Our partnership with PeakActivity further illustrates our commitment to providing merchants access to the highest-caliber technologies and service providers available in the industry,” said Russell Klein, Chief Commercial Officer for BigCommerce. “PeakActivity shares our desire to help merchants sell more and grow faster to maximize success, and we look forward to working together to mutually support customers.”
One of the first clients that PeakActivity introduced to the BigCommerce platform was online waterbed retailer, Afloat. “We designed our site based on BigCommerce,” says Michael Geraghty, CEO of Hall Flotation LLC. “It’s been almost two years since we launched. Sales, number of products, and the number of site features have all steadily increased, and BigCommerce’s performance has been excellent.”
Now that the partnership has become official, PeakActivity expects to deliver even more great experiences for its clients through the BigCommerce platform.
